We gratefully receive donations through Canada Helps. Please keep in mind that Canada Helps retains a 4% transaction fee for one-time donations and 3.5% for monthly donations.
INTERAC e-transfers – Through your online banking, make a donation to Pacific Spirit United Church at email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your name, address, and telephone number in the message box for tax receipting purposes.
TAP - Tap with your credit card on entry to the church. This option is available for special services only and is designed for those who do not require an income tax receipt.
PAR (pre-authorized remittance) – Sign up for regular donations by way of automatic monthly withdrawals from your bank account. The PAR form can be accessed HERE. Please mail a signed copy together with a void cheque to the Pacific Spirit United Church office. Withdrawals occur on or around the 20th day of each month.
Envelopes - For those who prefer using weekly or monthly envelopes, these can be placed in the offering plate on entry to worship service. Alternatively, we would be grateful to receive your offerings through good, old-fashioned mail. You might consider providing post-dated cheques for added convenience.
Gifts of Securities – A gift of shares or other securities can have significant tax benefits in certain circumstances and is easily facilitated by our investment team. Please see the LINK for more information on how to make a donation.
Income Tax Receipts are issued for all donations over $25. Because of the year-round nature of donations, tax receipts are issued once a year in early February unless an earlier receipt is requested.
