What does it mean to be a community that walks with people as they age, face illness or crisis? How do we accompany others when they feel most alone? The pastoral care and healing ministries work for the health of the entire community. If you would like a visit from one of our ministers, lay-vistors, or our healing ministry please contact the church with your request. (604)266-5377
Healing Ministry sessions are about restoring balance and wholeness to the body, mind, and spirit – not only for individuals, but also for relationships, communities and the whole of creation.
Our practitioners have completed one or more courses of Healing Pathway through the United Church, and volunteer to share their ministry of healing.
Healing sessions are “open” to the congregation and wider community by appointment on the 3rd Thursday evening and the 2nd Wednesday afternoon of the month, with occasional variations due to holidays. If you are interested in a Healing Session, please contact Lorraine, Jan, Judith Ann, or Jean

If you need temporary assistance with meals, Pastoral Care’s Casserole Brigade will consult with you about what type of food you need and arrange for food preparation and delivery. We are happy to receive both food requests and volunteers for food preparation and/or delivery.
