“Formosa” was once an internationally recognized name for Taiwan, known as the “Beautiful Island.” The Formosa Music Ensemble was founded by a group of Taiwanese-Canadian female instrumentalists, united by their dedication to giving back to society through music.

About the event
Each year, they present a charity concert in support of Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
The 4th Annual Charity Concert, Songs of Asia”, invites you on a journey across time and place, unfolding through melody. Timeless and contemporary works, in celebration of Asian Heritage Month in Canada.
$10/general admission, all proceeds will go toward Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
