About the event
Elektra also unveils the world premiere of Andrew Staniland’s Songs from the Lytton Fire, set to poetry by Lytton writer and fire survivor Meghan Fandrich, and the premiere SSAA version of Gerda Blok-Wilson’s Dried Up River. Additional works by Don MacDonald, Sarah Quartel, Mari Esabel Valverde, and Luke Wallace/Shawn Kirchner complete the program. Together, these works open space for reflection, compassion, and resilience – reminding us that, even in a time of profound change, hope grows when we lift our voices together.
